HELLO WORLD

Welcome to the Bellezza Blog! This blog has been a long time coming- I have been an avid blogger on a personal basis for years, but it was just one of the exceedingly long To Do's I have on the "starting a new business list". 2007 was a great start for me, 2008 is now half over and has been positively overwhelming in fantastic ways. I have been blessed in the dramatic overnight growth of my passion-turned-business as a professional photographer, but am still playing catch-up on all on my dedicated list of To Do's.

WHY BLOG?

This gives me an open forum to communitcate with all of my clients across the board, offering advice and inspiration for getting the most out of your photography experience, no matter what it may be. Check the blog often for glimpses at recent photo shoots & events, enjoy the stories behind the photos, and get a personal glimpse at who I am as a photographer.

THE BEST PART OF BEING A PHOTOGRAPHER

The best things in life are often unexpected. And I think most of all in this profession is the connection and relationships that I have formed with my clients. Foremost are my brides & grooms- our relationship is certainly given the benefit of time. Generally each couple receives 2 intimate photo shoots, numerous phone calls and emails and personal meetings that all take place 6 months to a year BEFORE the big day arrives. This time span has allowed for wonderful relationships forged with amazing couples. The benefit of this is the truly intimate wedding day portrayal I am able to capture when the big day arrives. Knowing the couple, having secured their trust and comfort, understanding their personalities and having an inside track to what elements are most important to them give me the advantage of photographing the true EXPERIENCE of the wedding day. It is more than the rings and vows and cake cutting, and especially more than those posed group shots- it is about preserving all of the magic and beauty that took place on that day, so that the couple can cherish those memories forever.

This connection translates into images that speak to the emotions- yours and mine! Remember, your moment in front of my lens may last an hour or two or a day, but my encounter is about 80 to 120+ hours per couple spent editing and creating custom album designs from your photos. This immersion in your images gives me an even deeper glimpse, and even helps me understand how to get the best wedding day shots by knowing your "best sides" for the camera.


"Wedding Season" is officially upon us. Brides, I hope you and your wonderful grooms are ready. Let go of the stresses and enjoy eachother in the final countdown. Trust me, as anxious as you are for your wedding day to arrive, this time before is very special to you as a couple- so let go of the stress and jitters and make the most of your last days BEFORE you are Mr. & Mrs.!
